When it comes to face-lift as a treatment for wrinkles, it can be done in either or both of two ways. Sometimes, the doc surgically removes the wrinkled skin and grafts firm skin from a donor site on your body to the infected spot, usually the inner thighs or the buttocks.

Sometimes the doc simply removes excess soft skin from the corners of, say your face, and stretches out the remaining skin so that the wrinkles disappear, tucking it by stitches behindhand your ears and along your hairline to hide the scars; and other times, a grappling lift requires a little bit of both.

It often takes a few days to a couple of weeks before you can safely take off the bandages, but once you do and there are no complications, you can instantly appreciate the clear skin results that you would have gotten from the procedure.

Another procedure for crinkle treatment, which is almost as favourite as the face-lift, is botox. Botox is the trademark for a preparation of botulinum toxin, a protein that relaxes muscle contractions and is often applied by injection under the skin to erase facial wrinkles.

These injections block extra shortening of your muscles but yield behindhand sufficient strength for normal daily activities. Often the results of botox can also be instantly seen as well, but you may have to return for more injections in a few months; fortunately it is no longer an expensive procedure as was the case in the past.
